OMS is a company specialized in mechanical precision manufacturing that can realize manufactures from carpentry to the final machine. The relationship between OMS and Eurosicma is based on collaboration and supply and it dates back over 30 years ago. OMS is located in Edolo and has been in the industry since 1978. It can rely on its charter members and on its current management with its half century experience in specific mechanical manufactures, following Brescia’s typical local tradition. Today, the structure consists of 45 co-workers who have the skills to create electro welded carpentry and to work with either traditional numerical control machines or mechanical, electric and electronic assemblings made by drawings. Eurosicma’s strategic choice is to have the production dislocated in a specialized industrial district such as the one located in Brescia, that has always been successful. In the modern market economy, most competitors have fully or partially moved their production in emerging countries, in order to have lower costs. Our choice to “stay national”, firstly made in 1978, turned out to be successful and guarantees to our customers a “made in Italy” product, combined with quality raw materials, care and high regard, everything subjected to strict constant controls. Reliability and endurance of the supplied goods are just some of the major customers’ benefits. EuroTEKNA is born after a long collaboration between Eurosicma and TEKNA, a company that had worked in the biscuit machine field for long. It accumulated a great and accurate experience in this market during the years. Today EuroTEKNA is on the market with its whole background gained in the biscuit field, plus an additional advantage for its customers. This is the proposal, together with Eurosicma, of a ”turn-key” equipment that would satisfy multiple needs both in production and packaging. As a mark of the important goals that this new company has achieved during the past 20 years, we’d like to mention here some main results:

• the supply of the feeding systems and general machines in biscuit field and bakery products, such as:

1. Sandwiching machines at one or multiple ways, Mod. SAMA/1, SAMA/2, SAMA/4;

2. Biscuit Feeding systems with the possibility of direct collection from the oven and the integration with Volumetric or Counting portion feeders;

3. Personalized feeding systems on customer’s requests;

4. Technical consultancy for personalized solutions;

5. Technical assistance with specialized staff to install the machines all over the world

the creation of synergies with Eurosicma in order to supply flow pack and Fold style wrapping machines.

The electronic evolution of the past decades ha underlying the importance of developing new technology. Eurosicma has always been working on state-of-the-art solutions for its software on wrapping machines and automatic feeding systems. For this main reason we have decided to found OASYS (Open Automation Systems). This new company has become not only Eurosicma’s Software House, but also a benchmark in the Automation field for the developments of new technologies. In order to maintain high levels of experience and technology in the automation world, OASYS dedicates itself to the development of Softwares not only in the Packaging Field but also in textile, automotive and aeronautics ones and this has given Eurosicma interesting innovative ideas. After almost 20 years of experience in different fields, OASYS has been giving Eurosicma a great support and also a lot of synergy benefits that otherwise couldn’t have been possible.
